About Timber Creek Stables Trail Rides
Timber Creek Stables is owned and operated by Bob and Kathryn. We have both been in love with horses and the outdoors all of our lives. You will find your experience with us unlike any other horse trail ride facility you may have visited in the past. When we started providing trail rides to the public, we tossed around descriptive names for what we wanted to provide, things like "Couples trail ride" "Private trail rides" etc.... but the essence of what we strive to provide is a memorable experience for our guests.
We only take out two people at a time. no exceptions. It is a very enjoyable, leisurely paced time on horseback in the woods with the person you love (or like an awful lot) and one guide. Our pricing is comparable to other trail riding stables that take out 10 people at a time. While there is nothing wrong with group rides, we feel that what we provide is a more enjoyable, and personal experience.

All of our rides involve 15 minutes of instruction prior to the begining of the ride. This time does not count as ride time and is provided free of charge.

We require that you schedule 24 hours in advance and that you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your scheduled ride time.

Please wear appropriate footwear, boots with a heel and smooth sole are best.

One Hour Private Trail Ride $75.00 per person
If you have not been in the saddle for a while we suggest going out on the one hour ride. If you decide during the ride that you would like to keep going just ask your guide, You may be able to upgrade to our two hour ride.
Two Hour Trail Ride $125.00 per person
We offer the two hour trail ride for people that feel one hour is just not enough. We started this after listineng to our customers. The overwhelming response after people take the one hour ride has been "WOW! that was great but I wish it was longer" Well now you have a choice, if one hour on the trail just isn't enough for you. Try our two hour ride!
Three Hour Trail Ride $175.00 per person
Join us in the beautiful Pocono mountains for a three hour long trail ride. This ride caters to the more experienced horse person. You will cross streams, ride up and down mountains, run through beautiful mountain top meadows and stop for a trail side lunch or dinner (depends on time of day) at our mountain top camp site.
